Ecointegral collaborates in the reconstruction of the electrical infrastructure devastated by the volcano on the island of La Palma (Canary Islands)

Ecointegral/IDP in its commitment to the community and to improving people’s quality of life, carries out the project for the reconstruction of the infrastructure of the Medium Voltage ring closure between the South and North lines of the Island of La Palma , as well as the Medium Voltage network for the evacuation of the new thermal power plant located in the Hermosillas area and the mobile power plant in Las Manchas; both affected by the eruption of the volcano that began last September 2021.

Additionally, Ecointegral will assume the construction management of this critical infrastructure for the population of the island for what it means as a guarantee of electricity supply.

eDistribución (Endesa) has started a complex and ambitious plan for the electrical reconstruction of La Palma after the damage suffered by the eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano, which has buried more than 120 kilometers of power lines, 85 medium voltage towers, 1,500 power poles, low voltage lumber and 19 distribution centers. Ecointegral is proud to collaborate with Endesa to restore normal electricity supply to the Canary Island.
