Extension of the Los Llanos substation in Casares (Málaga)

For this project, Ecointegral conducted the engineering and design of the extension of the substation in accordance with current legislation, the client’s own regulations and the applicable international standards.
Procedures were carried out to obtain the necessary permits for the works and commissioning of the project, continuously monitoring everything and preparing the reports and documents required by the various authorities.

The scope of the project also included the supervision of the works, which was divided into two stages: a first stage in which all civil engineering works were conducted outside the substation, with the added difficulty of working with the substation energised (taking into account the strictest safety standards for works in energised areas); and a second stage which involved disconnection in order to uninstall and demolish the existing area and subsequently install and commission the new equipment.
