REE – changes to current transformers at 220 kV substation – Algeciras

Design and detailed project for the replacement of line traps with the 220 kV Puerto Real substation according to the technical specifications and standardisation of the operator of the Spanish Electricity Grid.

To perform the works, it was necessary to disconnect the position affected by the replacement.

Basically, the following works were included:

Dismantling of connectors and cables from the current line traps in phases 0 and 4.
Dismantling of current front line traps in phases 0 and 4, including their coupling units.
Installation of new connectors and cables for connection of capacitor voltage transformers in phases 0 and 4, where the corresponding line traps were dismantled.
