Regular Regulatory Reviews of the Power Distribution Grid in Eastern Andalusia

Thanks to the experience amassed since 2012 as an power distribution engineering company, Ecointegral worked with distribution companies to conduct the legally-stipulated technical monitoring in order to check the operating and safety status of the medium voltage lines and the transformer substations of the utility companies.

This RRR (Regular Regulatory Review) project includes the annual monitoring of more than 1,400 km of medium voltage overhead lines and more than 3,500 transformer substations. Ecointegral technicians carry out an initial visual inspection, a photo report and measurements of safety parameters (earth resistance, etc.) and then prepare a report. If they detect any deficiencies that can be corrected in situ, they are solved and subsequently reported. If they cannot be solved immediately, a report is prepared to start the relevant correction process.

In order to properly conduct these reviews in hard-to-reach places, Ecointegral has a specialised team of technicians and certified drone pilots to use unmanned aircraft and special cameras.
