14 Jun Each new wind farm is a new step towards climate neutrality. Ecointegral drafts and delivers 14 new wind projects in Aragon, Spain.
The European Union is committed through the Green Deal signed by the member states to achieving climate neutrality by 2050. This would not be possible without the electrification of energy as the key lever in the decarbonisation of transport, of industry and other uses.
For this, it is essential to carry out the deployment of a large electricity generation park based on renewable energy sources that guarantees the availability of electricity when and where it is needed, both for its instantaneous use and for its storage in the different ways that it can be carried out (hydraulic, electrochemical, hydrogen, etc).
In Spain we have the great privilege of having non-polluting and inexhaustible natural resources to produce all the energy that we are going to need and even to export it.
Ecointegral has been collaborating with large companies for more than two decades in the development of electricity generation plants free of CO2 emissions. For instance, the 14 projects that in May 2021 have been drawn up and delivered out of the 27 wind farms that an important Spanish developer in consortium with a Danish company, will carry out in the province of Teruel, Spain, for a total of 1.2 GW power.
Participating as engineering in this great project (which will result in a major economic injection for the area, as well as an important contribution to the energy autonomy of Aragon and Spain) is a great satisfaction for Ecointegral.
Our mission is to continue contributing our bit to converting climate and environmental challenges into opportunities that achieve a just and inclusive transition for all.
