Alvarado and Sol Alvarado Solar Power Plants

Date: 2019
This project consists of the design of two solar power plants with identical capacity, located on neighbouring sites so that they can share internal collector networks and a transmission substation. These plants are located within the city limits of Badajoz.
Each plant has approximately 5,000 fixed photovoltaic structures, with a total of approximately 145,000 modules each. The total capacity of the plants can be raised to 100 MWp.
The works carried out by Ecointegral included the administrative project (including list of affected assets and rights), economic feasibility study, design and optimisation of the continuous and alternating collector system, optimisation of the distribution of photovoltaic structures, evaluation of waste treatment, detection of possible liabilities and alienation rights for the different industry powers and the end-to-end design of the joint evacuation substation, among many others.
