SOLAR ENERGY IS MAKING A STRONG IMPACT ON WATER MANAGEMENT AND AGRICULTURE

THE EXPERIENCE OF 15 YEARS DEVELOPING LARGE PHOTOVOLTAIC PROJECTS FOR WATER AND AGRICULTURE MANAGEMENT

At Ecointegral we have taken advantage of the experience acquired since 2004 in the development of more than 200 photovoltaic projects totalling almost 500 MW (engineering, processing, technical management…) to now also help farmers and irrigation communities to produce their own energy and reduce their costs.

Here is a small 80 kW self-consumption plant built in 2016, the supporting structure of which was used as a tool shed. It provides 100% of the energy needed to irrigate 50 hectares of intensive almond trees.

This project, which has been in operation for several years now, is just one sample of the potential of photovoltaic solar energy in applications related to water management: irrigation, water treatment plants, water transfers, irrigation communities, etc.

Ecointegral studies each project in detail and in a particular way to always offer the engineering solution that optimises the investment, comprehensively accompanying the promoter from the beginning to the start-up and operation of the plant.

In the equipment purchase and construction phase, we look for the best suppliers and installers, helping the developer to obtain the best conditions and the best guarantees for his project, always working independently to maximise the result and the interests of our clients.
