ECOINTEGRAL ATTENDS ENDESA’S 2ND ENDECAN AWARDS GALA

Last Wednesday, December 11, Ecointegral/IDP had the honor of attending the II Endecan Awards Gala , held at the emblematic Hotel Mencey in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. This event, organized by Endesa , recognized the commitment of people, companies and institutions that stand out in areas such as sustainability, solidarity, culture and biodiversity.

The gala was attended by the President of the Government of the Canary Islands, Fernando Clavijo , and his Vice President, Manuel Domínguez , as well as prominent representatives of Endesa, such as Rafael González , General Director of Generation at Endesa, Jose Manuel Revuelta, General Director of Infrastructure and Networks, and Pablo Casado , Territorial Director in the Canary Islands. Members of the business and political sectors also attended the event, along with representatives of various Canary Islands administrations.

During the ceremony, Endesa highlighted the stories of overcoming and commitment of the winners, such as the El Hierro Residents (Solidarity Award) for their humanity in the face of the migratory drama, the Adeje Town Hall (Bluest Municipality Award) for its work in tourism sustainability. Also recognised was the outstanding scientist in the field of astrophysics Ariadna Calcines (Scientific and Technological Talent Award), Binter Canarias (Sustainability Award) for its commitment to reducing the carbon footprint. Other winners included the Turtle Nursery of the Fuerteventura council (Biodiversity Award), the Living Museum of La Aldea (Culture Award), the athlete Miguelina Padrón (Sports Award) and the family of Pablo and Adrián Schwengber (Equality and Overcoming Award) for their inspiring example.

For Ecointegral/IDP , it was a pride to attend this event that reinforces fundamental values such as effort, empathy and respect for the environment. We are inspired by initiatives that promote a more supportive and sustainable world, aligned with our own working principles.
