ECOINTEGRAL PROJECT AND DIRECTS THE WORKS FOR THE DIGITALIZATION OF MORE THAN 300 ENDESA TRANSFORMATION CENTERS IN THE CANARY ISLANDS

Endesa invested 11.5 million euros in the installation of remote controls for remote control of its transformation centers in the Canary Islands. After the end of 2023, it has reached the figure of 2,514 centers within its plan to digitize the distribution network. This plan, which began in 2021, already covers 25% of the Endesa network in the Canary Islands.

Ecointegral/IDP has played a key role in the digitalization of transformation centers, carrying out the necessary projects, directing and legalizing the associated works.

The digitalization of Endesa’s network allows it to improve the quality of service for its customers, providing greater efficiency in locating incidents and reducing response times to any problem on the medium voltage network. Remote controls are a key piece in remote network management.

Smart grids or intelligent supply networks play a fundamental role in improving future energy supply. The devices implemented in these networks provide additional information and allow more precise controls for technicians operating from the network control centers, which in turn increases the capacity to execute automatic maneuvers and improves the quality of supporting information. received by said technicians.

Ecointegral/IDP has managed the works of this ambitious contract, planning and supervising the work of Endesa’s multi-service contractors.
